“To Rule the Night”

Moonrise glimmering on the ocean at Point Dume at sunset time. I witnessed this moonrise at 5:30 in the evening, 20 minutes after sunset. The location is the Point Dume headland. The light was unusual, with the gleaming reflection in the water underneath the cliffs. It was another special moment witnessing God’s creative hand.
This is another submission of mine in the On Location in Malibu 2024: Paintings by the California Art Club exhibition at the Pepperdine University Frederick R. Weisman Museum of Art, May 11–July 28, 2024.
